GDR Owner Wins Prestigious Award
Kate Ancketill, owner and Managing Director of GDR is the first recipient of a major new scholarship for female entrepreneurs. The Jennifer d'Abo Memorial Scholarship was set up in 2004 in memory of Jennifer d'Abo, the enterprising and award-winning businesswoman, to assist one talented British woman each year in funding her business education.
Kate was surprised, thrilled and honoured to have been chosen for the award, which she has already put to good use in attending Cranfield School of Management's Business Growth Programme, a four month course which resulted in an ambitious and fully critiqued business plan.
